Hi, my name is Mike Summers.

I am a Husband, Father and a Business Owner. I will confess that my grand plan was that the aforementioned priorities would be checked off daily without problem.

Before marriage and certainly before kids, I expected all my business interests (at the time, a clothing brand) would be a huge success and I could focus on family life and live happily ever after.

If you're a small business owner and still reading this, I know you have just smirked several times and thought "What a naive idiot!"

Well, yes I was but it hasn't dampened my spirits.

Over the last decade, I have developed my skills across many types of businesses and realised that an area I wanted to heavily invest time was in businesses that generated recurring revenue. Predictable and secure systems that allowed businesses to grow.

At 16 I worked in the motor trade before moving to, possibly, the most well established industry with a recurring revenue stream for businesses. I became an Insurance Broker and worked in Commercial Insurance. This taught me the value of retaining clients and over a 6 year period hard-wired me to understand Sales, Renewals, Lapses (or as you may also know it Churn). I understood that there was cost to acquiring new clients and huge value in retaining existing.

In 2013, I began looking in to the possibilities of starting my own business within a niche which is of keen interest to me, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I began a clothing brand and in 2014 made it my only focus. This was my first experience of being an entrepreneur and realised quickly how difficult it was.

Fast forward to now and I am the founder and owner of a successful and thriving Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy and the co-founder of a marketing platform specifically built for Jiu Jitsu gyms across the world with our core clients being in the US. In addition to this I still have interests in other E-commerce businesses.

That is not to say that all of my knowledge is restricted to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Martial Arts. Over the years, I have worked with successful individuals across various businesses and the same principles apply!

My experiences have led me to gain skills in:-
